Lose Those Last Five Pounds
Today is the first day of spring! How well have you been keeping your New Year's goal to shed some extra pounds? For this month and the rest of the year, "Get Your Plate in Shape" by following a well-balanced nutrition plan and making physical activity a regular part of your life.
With planning, you can easily fit aerobic activity into your routine during the week. Examples of moderate-intensity aerobic activities:
- Walking (at a pace of 3 miles per hour)
- Water aerobics
- Riding a bike on level ground with few hills
- Tennis (doubles)
Examples of vigorous-intensity activities:
- Jogging or running
- Swimming laps
- Riding a bike fast or on hills
- Tennis (singles)
- Aerobic dancing
