Buying Food in Bulk

It's no joke that food is expensive. Could you save money by buying in bulk? If you know your household eats a lot of a particular item, it might be beneficial to stock up on it, especially if there is a deal for that item. But, make sure not to stock up on an unneeded item just because it is on sale.

Keep these tips in mind:

  • Buy only what you will use in two to three months time.
  • Buy meat, chicken or fish if you have enough room in your freezer to store.
  • Buy frozen vegetables and fruit in bags so you can take out what you need and freeze the rest.
