Tip of the Day
How Healthy Is Your Burrito?
Some diners thinks burritos are a healthier option than other Mexican dishes, but this has been proven not the case. A burrito can actually contain more than 1,100 calories and can have more than 40 grams of fat if you add cheese, sour cream and guacamole.
When you are pressed for time during a busy day at work, cut the calories by ordering a burrito without the tortilla, which will shave around 290 calories. Substitute vegetables for rice and choose one topping instead of splurging for all three (cheese, sour cream and guacamole), which are all high in fat.
