What Are the Most Common Kinds of Food Allergies
Milk, eggs, fish, crustacean shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat and soybeans are the eight most common food allergies. Manufacturers are required to state on the food label if the product contains protein from any of these allergens. Some manufacturers indicate if the food was made in a facility that contains these allergens as well.
