PPW Online in 2009!
Join hundreds of your fellow ADA members February 8 to 10, 2009 to advance stronger food, nutrition and health policies and programs in Washington and the states.
The 2009 Public Policy Workshop will be offered electronically to all interested members, without charge, using formats that let members hear about issues and engage in online dialogue with speakers. Sessions will offer specialized leadership and training for advocacy that supports a variety of ADA’s policy priorities.
Like in other years, ADA plans a program to familiarize members with current issues affecting food, nutrition and health, enhance grassroots lobbying capabilities and strengthen the association through the networking of members. Attendees will learn how to be effective advocates for the profession and take what they learn to their state’s congressional delegations.
