New Nutrition Informatics On-Line Community

We are very pleased to announce the launch of a new forum to share information, post resources, and promote ongoing discussion in nutrition informatics.  To join this on-line community, you must be an ADA member.

You can access this new portal at http://adanic.webauthor.com.  Then click on Register and complete the requested information.  Your membership will be verified and then you will be given access.  Complete your profile, post your photo, and join the discussion!

I googled and saw this post of yours. I do hold a PhD in Nutrition and a Masters in Cheminformatics with specialization in Laboratory Informatics. I have been interested in a forum like this for Nutrition Informatics for a long time, since my postdoctoral days at the Sch of Public Health at Columbia Univ in NY. Unfortunately, it looks like your site is restricted to members of ADA. Let me know when you expand this membership and would like to involve other groups from the general nutrition community.

Dr. Kennedy, thanks for your comments. We consider the on-line communities to be a member benefit. With a PhD in nutrition you may very well be eligible to become an ADA member. We look forward to further discussions.
