Ripple of Meaningful Use: Part II Patient Education Sites

Sometimes “More is Less”—this is a quote straight from the Final Rule for Meaningful Use:

“Use certified EHR technology to identify patient-specific education resources and provide those resources to the patient if appropriate”.

Translation: Nutrition Education Websites need to ante up their best information. We now have a chance to make a sizable impact on sending the correct information on Nutrition! Please send your websites for consideration. And together, let’s negate the need for “if appropriate”!
