Family Champions Grantees Announced / Toolkit Available

Kids Eat Right Family Champions RD Mini-Grantees Announced!


Congratulations to the 30 RDs selected to receive a Kids Eat Right Family Champions. One Change at a Time. RD mini-grant! Each RD will receive $250 to lead one parent cooking workshop from the Family Champions toolkit in their communities.

All Kids Eat Right Campaign Volunteers can access, download, and use this new toolkit promoting healthy family behaviors, meal planning and preparation. The toolkit contains 3 hands-on cooking workshop parent presentations, with leader notes and handouts.

The Family Champions. One Change at a Time. toolkit was developed with an educational grant from General Mills. Members of the Food and Culinary, and the Nutrition Education for the Public Dietetic Practice Groups participated in the development of the toolkit.
