I was born and raised in the Kansas City area and was ecstatic to be back in Kansas after my undergraduate education at Missouri State University in Springfield, MO. I completed my dietetic internship at the University of Kansas Medical Center and am currently getting a Masters of Public Health at KUMC. I did my community internship with HSP and am looking forward to working with the kids and the RD coaches again this year. I am passionate about working with children and believe that healthy eating should begin at a young age to encourage a healthy lifestyle throughout one’s life. I love getting the students excited about nutrition and energy balance and could not wish for a more fulfilling job!
