I am an Iowa State graduate and my past experience includes working in an outpatient diabetes education center and in the supermarket setting. I feel privileged to have been given the opportunity to be a RD Coach. This amazing opportunity has allowed me to teach students essential nutrition education that will empower them to lead a healthy lifestyle. Bringing this education to the students while they are in school is ideal and allows all students to participate. Being a part of an amazing team of RD Coaches has made this experience even more enjoyable. This program is a big step toward addressing the childhood obesity epidemic we are facing and I feel blessed to be a part of it.
