I am so honored to be an RD Coach! Nutrition education is really my passion and what better place to make a difference than with kids?!! The methods, messages and resources we provide to schools and children are top notch.

After receiving my BS in Dietetics from Iowa State University, I spent eight years in clinical practice and am now in my fourth year as a Hy-Vee dietitian in the Des Moines metro area. Weight management has always been a key interest, and I received the Certificate of Training in Adult Weight Management from ADA in March 2003.

I’m really eager to see the impact we will have on our schools over the next year! I look forward to the powerful effect we RD Coaches will have on the kids and their families, the schools and communities we serve and hopefully to the growth of new healthy lifestyles in our country!
