I grew up in the Kansas City area and attended Iowa State University on a basketball scholarship with my twin sister. In addition to being an RD Coach, I am the RD and Natural Food Buyer for a local grocery store chain. I am married with two daughters and I love being an RD coach because I love teaching children about nutrition. I enjoy showing them how to eat healthy and how to make small changes that can impact their health. My favorite part of the HSP program is working with the kids and other RDs. It is exciting to see kids learn and get interested in health and nutrition. This program really does affect how kids eat and improves their nutrition knowledge.
