I have played many roles in my life: daughter, student, wife, mother of three, and even soccer mom of a professional Kansas City Wizards player! One of my favorite current roles I love is being an RD Coach! It is a great opportunity to work with young people in the school setting and share what we know best — nutrition! I love the fact that we can have a positive impact on the health and well being of students. It is fun to be able to share information about healthy eating and exercise habits in a fun and entertaining way. My favorite part is getting to know the students so when they see me they say," Hi Miss Diane! What are we going to learn about today?" They are truly excited about what we are doing. I also love working with the other RDs on the team. Collaborating with other professionals and developing friendships has been a very rewarding experience.
