Program Development Awards

The following Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Foundation awards are available to all Academy members. The annual application deadline is February 1 unless otherwise noted. The amount of the award is determined by investment return of the fund endowment.

CDR Grassroots Marketing Grant (New Grant)

The purpose of this fund is to provide grants to RDs or DTRs to promote CDR credentials at the local level to prospective employers or third-party-payers. Funds may be used for a virtual event/activity or "live" meeting or program (i.e., to attend and exhibit at a professional meeting).

CDR Simulation Development Grant

One or multiple grants totaling $200,000 for the development of interactive practice simulations that address Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) supervised practice competencies are available through the Foundation. Applications should support the development of simulations addressing ACEND supervised practice competencies in topic areas suited to simulations. Priority will be given to proposals that are adaptable in a wide range of settings and accessible to the profession at large for use. Proposals may include high fidelity and low fidelity practice simulation options. Applications are due December 1. Email Amy Donatell with any questions.

LuLu G. Graves Nutrition Education Award

This award is given to support volunteer groups engaged in projects and programs of nutrition education for the public. Multiple awards may be given.
