    The Board of Directors is committed to evolving the Academy's online communications vehicles and keeping members on the cutting edge. Each month, members receive an e-mail newsletter called Eat Right Weekly, an update on Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics events, initiatives and Web resources.   • Nutrition Care Manual® (NCM®)—

    Created and peer reviewed by specialty area experts, NCM is an online diet manual that includes tools for nutrition risk screening, nutrition diagnosis and prescription, printer-friendly patient materials, calculators, a formulary of nutritional solutions and more. NCM meets the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Interpretive Guidelines for hospital certification and Joint Commission standards of accreditation. Additionally, the Healthcare Facilities Accreditation Program (HFAP) has named NCM as its preferred diet manual. Members receive a special discount.
  • Nutrition Fact Sheets/Eat Right Messages—

    An online and print nutrition education program that is available on the Academy's Web site as print-ready, two-page handouts in PDF format. Content includes a statement promoting registered dietitians and a special section where members can include personalized contact information.
