ANDPAC Hits the Affiliate Circuit: Are You Ready?
The Academy's Political Action Committee has hit the road, presenting at affiliate meetings across the country and speaking to members about the important role policy plays in dietetics.
At the Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska and Kansas (MINK) meeting, nearly 500 members heard how policy affects their professional careers. Attendees learned the connection between policy and nutrition services and generously gave more than $700 to ANDPAC.
The Louisiana Dietetic Association got creative with its ANDPAC donation system and raffled prizes to members who contributed $5 or more. Louisiana turned its meeting into a public policy pep rally and raised $600 for ANDPAC.

Generous donations to ANDPAC help the Academy and our members forge relationships with members of Congress who influence health, food and nutrition policies.
