The ACEND-approved new Eligibility Requirements and Accreditation Standards (ERAS) for dietetics education programs in January 2008. The 2008 ERAS became mandatory for all accreditation documents submitted on and after March 1, 2009. Since the inception of the new standards, there have been many questions have arisen.
